Our
Story
Christ’s Saints in London was registered as a charity in 2013, and we have come a long way since then.
Over the past years, we have organised various activities that allow us to reach out to people who are struggling with poverty and/or marginalised from the society. Some of our activities focus on education and skills building, both in children and in adults who want to improve their employability. We also help people look for employment opportunities and find a stable job that offers a decent income and allows them to live independently.
We know just how important good health is, so we come up with community outreach events in which we give advice on how to avoid cardiovascular issues, sexually transmitted disease, and other health problems. We also organise games and sports events to encourage both children and adults to exercise and develop their overall wellbeing.
Of course, we don’t just stop at serving people in England and Wales. We have helped refugees in obtaining their UK visa and gaining the right to legally work in the country. We have also extended a helping hand to people in developing countries who struggle with poverty as well as the effects of natural disasters. After the 2015 Nepal earthquake, for instance, we have sent financial aid to assist people who have lost their homes and possessions. Later, we helped build a shelter that will serve vulnerable Nepalese. We have likewise provided logistic and financial assistance to Zambia and the Dominican Republic and plan to help other countries soon.
